Who ITL Serves

We like to think ITL is for everyone, of course. We believe being intentional and teachable are foundational keys of great leadership, and we also believe leadership can begin much closer to home than most people realize.

Sometimes leadership looks like a CEO guiding a large team. Other times it may look like a founder building something from the ground up. Sometimes it looks like a college student helping carry the weight of a group project. And then there are times when leadership looks like one little kiddo following you around the homestead, learning how to do simple chores and.. of course... learning by watching where you step next.

Kingdom Industries United, Inc. is a separate nonprofit organization founded by April D. Metzler and is not part of ITL’s business operations. It is worth mentioning here because it shares ITL’s commitment to unity, outreach, and collaborative community impact. KIU serves as a public charity created to support faith-centered leaders through community resources, collaboration projects, and connection opportunities for ministerial endeavors across industries.

Pausing Here To Share A Few Things About April

April D. Metzler is the owner of Intentionally Teachable Leaders, LLC, the creator behind the full ITL ecosystem experience, and the founder of the nonprofit public charity Kingdom Industries United, Inc. She is an Oklahoma resident, born and raised, with a heart for providing solution-focused resources that help people remember that the words “You Matter” are more than a cute catchphrase. Together, those two words create a truth statement that applies to every person.

The solutions connected to this ecosystem are intentionally designed to help real people navigate real life. Whether they are facing long-term or short-term decisions, current responsibilities, or new ones... every moment matters and shapes lives.

She challenges people to consider simple shifts like, "It is not IF you have impact. You DO have impact. Rather, it is WHEN you have impact - What do you want that impact to be?"

Having lived and worked across both rural Oklahoma and city environments while designing and hosting virtual events with global reach, building connection opportunities, and serving leaders across multiple settings, April brings a well-rounded and grounded understanding of people, places, leadership, communication, and public impact topics.
